Watching these two find each other, fall in love, and build their faith as they served for a year of internship at Camp Au Sable has been beautiful. We love them dearly and look forward to seeing the journey that God takes them on in the years to come!
“Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times.” ~Ann Landers

I am often asked if I can photograph weddings. The answer is “Yes!”, but there are almost always conflicts of time, schedule, or religious convictions. A lot of people choose a Saturday to say their vows and celebrate their commitment to each other, but I am not available for any photography sessions or events on Saturdays. So when Alanna told me her wedding was going to take place on a Monday, I was ecstatic to be able to work with her to capture her wedding day!
It was a beautiful snowy day at Camp Au Sable to witness the love these two share!
Praise God for His faithfulness and loving kindness in bringing Alanna and Danny into a happy marriage and a life of service!
May He always bless your home with joy!

In March of 2018, I submitted 8 images to The Portrait Masters Awards and Accreditation. Each submission is graded by a panel of judges and a final score is given based on the average of the judges’ scores. Points toward accreditation are awarded based on the scores and are accumulated based on an international judging system.
Of the 8 images I submitted, 5 scored high enough to receive Bronze awards with points toward accreditation.
Each image was required to have been taken within the previous 24 months.
Here are my Bronze award winning images:

Maria came to see me last fall for her Senior Portraits while the brilliant colors were at their peak. We had a great time wandering through the park and downtown Grayling during golden hour and right at sunset for these images!
Thank you Maria! I’m so glad you came to me for your senior pictures!

Last fall I met up with the F. Family at their family farm to update their pictures before the holidays! They have the most magnificently beautiful children who are sweet as can be but still have those impish smiles you see below! It was a cool evening but with some snuggles, warm hats, and cozy blankets, we kept warm.
Thank you again for bringing me into your home and letting me capture your family and the wonderful connections between you!
